Damn. I can't even begin to count how many times I couldn't sleep at night because of this. Once I was reading a book at 1 am in my bed, so I decided to spoil the ending (big mistake) and ended up getting boogies all over my book.

i remember when i was watching the lion king and when mufasa was dying, my best freind was sitting on the back couch.. playing the troll song.. she was laughing her silly ass off.

Boromir, every time, book and movie. A few more times, but it was mostly fake deaths, when they came back to life later I felt dumb for crying but still happy they were alive.

I cried like 20 minutes during the end of The Lord of the Rings, while nobody died AND I normally never cry in front of a film.

Everytime I watch Lion King I cry when Mufassa died

A couple times from anime. Marco and Ai from Future Diary, especially.

God, if I could list all the things I've cried at...

Drake's Fortune 3, Water for Elephants, Ted, Hunger Games (the book not the movie), Paranorman, Marley and me, at my own stories, What the Night Knows, Titanic (although I hate the movie), West Side Story (terrible acting but still sad), Dumbo, the music video for My Chemical Romance's Never Coming Home, Boy in Stripped Pajamas. When I was eight I cried at the Spongebob Movie.

I get VERY attached to fictional characters. That's only the times I can remember right off of the bat.

Aerith from Final Fantasy VII was the first.

In all genres...
Be it Socks from Dance with the Wolfes (only part of the movie that touched me...) or the end of the 10th doctor - not really a death, but I think it can count XD
